You can also get Vitamin D from many resources. Here’s a good thorough list to order it online. I take about 2000 ius on most days and try to sunbathe which also helps my skin. (I have psoriasis) Since I live in Phoenix, AZ, I can take full advantage of the sun, especially in the spring and summer months.
In addition, I take multi vitamins which also contain some D.
